History in the making

The World Loan Collection

We must display quality

This website is only one way to display quality, but think about the millions of others that we can reach on a daily basis. Of course every photographer wishes they could have their own private showing in airports, museums, around the world, but a mixture of the finest pieces of photographic artwork is far more appealing. As photographers if we want the public to buy quality we must display quality. This is a step to a World Photographic Loan Collection, not limited by association.

But first we must have that collection to show curators what is available. That is where photographers must step up to the plate. We are only asking for one print to showcase your work. Minimum size is 50 centimeters or 20 inches. Photographers can submit just prints and allow us to frame them or they can take total creative control and mat and frame their own images.

TPW will be seeking a corporate sponsor for this project to cover marketing and set up costs with displaying locations and our own insurance.

Can Photographers sell their work

Yes, photographers can sell their work and Top Photo Websites will not take any of the profits. Certain museums and airports may take a percentage, so we tell photographers to price their prints for what they want out of it, and let the museums and airports increase the price to what they need to make.  Of course if we provided the framing we will deduct that cost. If your print does sell we sincerely hope that you replace it with another so we can sell that. Any place displaying prints must have the collection insured.
